After searching for some hours… I’ve finally been able to repair mail fetching on some accounts…
If you cat /opt/zimbra/log/mailbox.log and pipe grep “Import” you`ll notice that some accounts are not found in the logs…, also you`ll notice the [ScheduledTask-#] which indicates that zimbra is using some short of deamon? to fetch email once in a while…
When building your CoS you can set Datasource Polling Interval in the administration panel, but even after setting or re-setting the value some accounts fail to cooporate.
Command to adjust default polling interval in CoS:
zmprov mc default zimbraDataSourcePollingInterval 60
Command to adjust default polling interval for user:
zmprov ma firstname.lastname@example.org zimbraDataSourcePollingInterval 5m
Tried the above commands, still no luck, no logs indicating that the above accounts tried to fetch new mail… even after restarts…
Zimbra is using a table to check which emails and how often to use polling,
mysql -e "select * from zimbra.scheduled_task"
Now you know how to change the value there, use your sql command knowledge and change those values to match the CoS value and you should be good to go.
